Booking tickets

The easiest way to book tickets is online. Our website is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Alternatively, you can call the Box Office on 01642 81 51 81View Box Office opening times.

To book tickets for shows at Middlesbrough Town Hall, please visit their website.

Your basket

Because your account lets you log into both the Middlesbrough Town Hall and Middlesbrough Theatre websites, you can access your basket from either site. So if you’re booking tickets to shows at both venues, you only need to complete the checkout process once.

Contacting us

If you have a question or problem with your booking, you can contact us using the phone number above, or by emailing us at [email protected].

You might also be able to get an answer to your question by checking the FAQs page.

Creating an account

If you’ve never had an account with us, you’ll need to create one. (If you had an account before we launched our new website in October 2017, please see the guidance below in ‘Logging into your account’.)

Go to the account login page and click the ‘Register now’ button next to ‘New Customer?’. When you’ve entered all your information, you’ll be sent an email from [email protected] confirming that your account has been created.

Your account will allow you to access both the Middlesbrough Town Hall and Middlesbrough Theatre websites, so you don’t need two separate accounts.

Logging into your account

Go to the account login page and enter your username and password.

If this is the first time you’ve tried to book tickets online since we switched to our new website in October 2017, you’ll still be able to access your account but you’ll need to reset your password first. Go to the account login page and click the ‘Reset here’ button next to ‘Forgotten your password?’. You’ll be sent an email from [email protected] with a link to reset your password.

Logging out of your account

To log out, go to the my account page, and click the blue button saying ‘LOGOUT’.

Forgotten password

If you’ve forgotten your password, click the ‘Reset here’ button next to ‘Forgotten your password?’. You’ll be sent an email from [email protected] with a link to reset your password.

Website accessibility

Just like our shows and building, we want everyone to be able to use and enjoy our website.

You may find it easier to increase the size of your screen text, which you can do through your browser:

In Internet Explorer, select View, then Text Size, and then your preferred size.

In Chrome, select More (the icon looks like 3 dots stacked on top of each other and next to Zoom you’ll see options to make the page bigger (+) or smaller (-)

In Firefox select View, then Zoom, then either Zoom in (Ctrl +), Zoom out (Ctrl -) or Reset (Ctrl 0)

In Safari select View, then Increase (Ctrl +), Zoom out (Ctrl -) or Normal (Ctrl 0)

There are also a number of other settings on both your PC and your browser that may make it easier for you to view this website and others. Find out more about accessibility.

COVID-19 Update

In light of the government’s announcement on Monday 16th March about avoiding non-essential social contact, Middlesbrough Town Hall & Middlesbrough Theatre will be closed to the public for the next four weeks. The decision to close has been made with the best interest of our customers, visitors & performers.

We are working with promoters and organisers to reschedule events where possible and all existing ticket-holders will be offered to transfer their tickets to the new date or if they are unable to attend then full refunds will be issued.

Our Box Office team will be in touch during the proceeding days with further details & will be contacting all customers on a show-by-show basis.

During the time of closure, Middlesbrough Town Hall & Middlesbrough Theatre Box Offices will remain open for phone & email enquiries only, they will not be accessible to members of the public.

As you can appreciate our team will be receiving a high volume of calls & emails, so please bear with us during this busy and challenging time.

Thank you for your patience & understanding,

Middlesbrough Town Hall & Middlesbrough Theatre Teams.
